Thanks Carlos for letting me use your fotograph, and all your encouragement.
This was a challenge for me, because Ive never done anything like a flower, I ussually do cars and bikes, metalic objects, and the flower has texture and was very interesting learning how to achieve certain effects. Oh and if your curious about the grain, I just imported a Grain fill and added a transparency nothing fancy.
I tried to render it as close as the original as I could, I had a lot of trouble blurring the stem part, but I found out how. I hope you enjoy this, and I would love to see what you think. Be sure to check out the original, and my wire frame.
I beleive this is a Lilly, and I dedicate this to my girlfriend
WIREFRAME:

Program Used: XaraX
I did not use any meshes or blends. Just trancparencies and gradients.

Exactly. What's the point in exactly reproducing a photograph? Some kind of envy of photocopier machines?

Anyway Leave the short minded in their short minded world.....
Great Work......... You are amazing on working vectors in the most unique way.... I wonder if this kind of work has commercial purposes? You actually can "scan" an object and reproduce it exactly.... Great Tecnichak work! +8/8
