Ok, Im going to be honest because you asked me to...
EXPRESSION: A perfect 10, the light in her face is very adequate, and her expression is totally sensual and romantic at the same time, her pose is beautiful, the hair on the face is exquisite, I love to see that hair doesnt make shadows on face, this is really good on this kind of portraits, I saw the original and withouth the strong shadow behidn her arm I would prefered the original with the complete arm and elbow, but this one looks real great too, Her facial expression is the main subject of concept and atention, specially her lips.

POST-PROCESSING: Well here I have to gave you a 9, why? Maybe because my personal taste about post- processing and not really about tecnique, In my personal taste I would try to give a more proffesional skin tone and texture, Im talking here about "digital make up", maybe the only I would remove is some skin inperfections, because her lips are the center of atention, I would make up a little bit the chin to remove some things, but generally as I said on the beggining this is my personal taste. The soft focus works great here, but I would give a sharper look and shiny look to the lips. One last thing, try to soften the shadow near her nose. But if you leave it this way is because a reason and I respect that.

Generally the photo is awesome, the light, the shadows works well here, you got a really beautiful girlfriend, maybe you could convince her to pose more often. I must say this photo is really great! Totally sensual work!

Great off-the-shoulder snap Rian. I think it's good that you weren't tempted to get too 'arty' with this one, because as it stands it's clean cut and totally fresh with just enough vibrancy to make it a classical pic.

I understand eremita's critique but I have to say that I personally prefer it the way it is. The skin imperfections give her some kind of additional character. I believe a perfect skin would "flatten" the image. Ok, I do prefer non-professional, non-perfect portraits...

Agree about the shadow behind her left arm. Without the shadow I wouldn't have noticed that she is near to a wall and that disturbs me a bit...

Very nice capture... Everthing had been said.

But I must say that theres somethings that I am not agree with, I think that this is a great photo, with a well use of focus, lighting and that the expresion on ur girlfriend face is also great, but I am going to be honest saying that I dont really think that this is an AWESOME pic.... it have very good details, but i think that if a new member show this pic everybody will say something different and the critiques will be more hard.... (just my opinion).

I like very much your work and you know cause I always comment on its... but i want to express my truely feelings. 9/10.
